I've been blogging now for just over seven years. I started my first blog, Zwillings, as a way to share pictures and stories of Erika and Sasha with their grandparents. When I married Bruce and my family grew, I started a new blog to share with more grandparents and family. I've been posting on SurfClan now for five years. It's become difficult recently to come to this blog and post. It's a reminder of much hurt and sadness and I think the time has come to move on. And so, with fondness, SurfClan, I bid you farewell.

Jinx leaves his mark
This is the lawn next to the some of the parking at work where I let Jinx out during the day. All the spots are cracking me up. Hehehe. It kind of goes with his full name: Merganser's Jammin Ink Spot. Except with pee.
Easter 2013
Stepping back from our trend of more elaborate/engineered egg decorating each year, this year we had much more traditional eggs. Sasha won the Easter egg bashing contest with her "war bunny" egg. Erika's "Squirt" egg won this morning's follow on contest.
What's Easter without food? Bruce made buttermilk biscuits and we all helped make fresh pineapple, orange and mandarin juice to go with our Easter egg and duck/pork breakfast sausage.
Bruce and I had fresh Dungeness crab and local brew Rogue Irish lager for dinner. Living in the Pacific Northwest has it's advantages...
