Our kids are awesome. This past weekend when Bruce was in the hospital, the kids all chipped in and helped to get things done, from helping with breakfast to carrying the little girls to bed while I took care of the dogs.
On Saturday morning, Chris took over breakfast by making pancakes. He mixed them and then cooked them up in the pan. He experimented with size (HUGE) and then got tricky with fitting two in the pan at once. He got some interesting shapes out of them and didn't burn a single one (unlike me who forgot one of the burners doesn't regulate and burned the eggs). That boy has mad pancake skills!
