Break at the coast

Bruce and I headed to the coast for about a week to recuperate after the holidays and the year. We lucked out with no wind and a few funny days although the temperatures were in the 40s during the day. That was motivation to get out of the wetsuits after surfing pretty quickly!

We went searching for glass floats a couple days, here with our lovely neighbor Kimberly.
This was Jinx' first time on the beach. To say he enjoyed it would be an understatement. I tried to get an action shot but he didn't sit still much.
We hit some HUGE swells (12 feet at 15 sec). The tow surfers were out at Nelscott Reef. We tried to find the smallest waves we could. It was still pretty big. Mother Nature reminded us how powerful water can be a few times just to make sure we still respected her.
Lucky, please please please pay attention to me!!
