Last weekend were the two performances of Noye's Fludde opera. As some of the rehearsals were a bit, ahem, rocky, I was nervous that they might forget their dance or look they had serious stage fright. I didn't need to worry: the girls performed like pros! If they missed something I couldn't tell and they looked great in their costumes. Needless to say I was so incredibly proud of the work they put in and how awesome they did in their first solo dance.
Erika, as the raven. The girls and I couldn't get the start of this song out of our heads. "If this fowl come not again it is a sign sooth to say". Dada Da. Da. Daaaaah.
Sasha, the dove, beginning her dance down the aisle to the arc.
Don't mess with Noye. Rather than the frail old man I remember from my Sunday school days, Noye was a buff construction worker.
All the kids posing for pictures after the last performance.
You might need a stairway to heaven but coming down you need a stepladder.
The girls hamming it up with Christine, their choreographer.
