First Kiss

Yesterday Sarah had her first real date. Before I divulge some details, let me just remind everyone that not more than 3 weeks ago, Sarah said she was not going to date anyone this year and focus on her schoolwork. Remember? Apparently her resolve was weakened by a deep voice, nice smile and a tall buff body. Go figure.

Anyway, on the afternoon of their date, her boyfriend prepared (from scratch!! says Sarah) popcorn and chocolate chip cookies. Then they sat down and watched a movie. Sometime during this movie, there was a meeting of lips. According to Sarah, it was pretty nice. She also says her first thought afterward was that maybe she should tell him that her dad may now come after him with a gun. Bruce told her that he'd only need to worry if he made her cry and that really, the one he should be worried about was me.

In a few weeks Sarah has a band concert that we'll try to go to so we can meet said boyfriend. Assuming that at that time she is still dating him. History shows that three weeks is loooooong time when you're in high school. We'll try not to embarrass you (well, too much) Sarah!
