Report from the Right Coast

I've been calling and checking in with the girls every few days. It sounds like they're having a good time and are getting a chance to spend quality time with family.

At Grandma Mickey and Grandpa Joe's they are having fun with their cousin Nicholas (10). They were enjoying playing with Pokeman cards until Erika decided she really didn't want to give up a card which caused some tension. Grandma Mickey said no more Pokeman. Carly (2.5) is reported to be "evil" and seems to spend her day breaking and running into things.

They've been up to the bakery visiting Opa and Oma. Diane is feeding them cookies as big as their head (thanks for pic, Diane).

The spent last weekend at my sister's with their cousins Shawn and Alex (15?). Originally they were going to go to a rodeo (go figure: travel to NY to do that) but the weather's been rainy so they played miniature golf instead. They also hung out at the house with the boys playing video games.

Brooke picked them up for pizza with Oma, ice cream and a movie. Here's what she had to say:

i took them Monday. We stopped by omas and we went out for pizza , then took them to my house and played with my new puppy. We went out for ice cream.. which they ate every little drop of, and then watched ella enchanted and ate popcorn. It was nice, haah then they told me how, the entire time they were with mom, she was complaining about something.. haha it was funny. little gabber boxes they are. talk talk talk talk .. hmm sounds familiar?! they were so cute.. a little on the sassy side but still cute♥ They wanted to spend the night but i had work , so they were like come pick us up tomorrow. i was like i cant i have work and im sure other family wants to see you.They were like aww .

On Wednesday, Opa took them, Tia Mitzie and her clan (Frances (7), Fielding (5?), and Bronwyn (2?) to Fire Island for the day. They were lucky and had nice weather while upstate had a downpour of rain. They spent the night at Mitzie's and then played on the farm (husking corn, getting eggs, petting cows) the next day. I think they went fishing too. I'm hoping for some nice pictures from Tia Mitzie!

For the last few days of their trip, it sounds like they'll visit Opa again, this time getting a chance to see Lita and spending another night with Tia Mitzie. Hopefully they'll remember my care package...
